MESSAGE FROM THE CPC-ASHMM EDUCATION CHAIRMAN
Dear Central PA Supply Chain Colleagues:
My name is Dan Sweigert. I am currently the Education Chairman for CPC-ASHMM for the 2008 Year. This inquiry, although humbly granted by CPC-ASHMM, is a personal request for Medical Equipment and supplies for a new Hospital in Northeastern Haiti.
I have visited this town of 100,000+ and have experienced the desperation of these peoples, both in sustenance and medical care. Financial resources have recently provided this town with a 3-story Medical Clinic which opened just this year. However, staffing as well as equipment and supplies currently limit access for the townspeople to only two weeks within any 12-month period.
I am asking for your help by reviewing the attached Equipment Needs list and providing me with items and quantities that your facility can donate.
This equipment will be gathered and returned to Columbus, OH where it will be cleaned and inspected in preparation for its journey to Ouanaminthe, Haiti. The intent, as noted below in a short 4-minute Video, is to fund an active 365-day Clinic with full staff and equipment/supplies.
If you can help with any of the needed Equipment via donations, please complete the attached Cocina Medical Needs form and return to me via email by clicking here
Thank you for your consideration…Please call me with any questions at 717-525-1608.
Sincerely,
Dan Sweigert
